but I am actually hoping for the small pasteles, with the dough made of yuca, and stuffed with a meat mixture.

Pretty please could you post it? I have never been successful at getting the consistency of the dough correct.

I am so happy you are doing things for yourself, you have worked hard all your life and deserve to enjoy it. Some day my children will grow up, and I will be able to do the same, God willing! Meanwhile, I will try to enjoy them. Keeps me out of trouble, I guess.

It is so nice to hear from you. I have a package of yuca in my freezer awaiting your instruction.
