Thank You: Tried your Baked Rice Pudding (Custard)

Dear Carolyn .. I just tried the baked rice pudding last night, that you posted in July,2000. It was very good. I think I used too much rice, so it was more dry than custard-y. I'll try again w/less rice. (I think I used about 2 cups! cooked.) I also added slivered almonds, and had it w/light whipped cream. Yum. My husband liked it (w/raisins) but would like it to be less dry (my fault).
I'm also from NJ.. Clinton-Flemington area.. where are you from?
