Almond paste uses - one idea...

is to spread some on the inside of croissants before you bake them; i've only ever had these store bought and they were delicious so i bet they'd be even better home made. If you don't want to make your own croissants maybe you could make those Pilsbury ones that can be found in the cold section and just add the almond paste before putting them in the oven?
