Barb's answer for frozen biscuit dough

Misc.
I used White Lily self rising flour, crisco an buttermilk and froze the dough. I tried to bake the biscuits frozen at 375 degrees and they did not rise or brown properly. I then made more and baked them first and then froze them and they turned out good. Just took them out of the freezer and wrapped in foil to heat. Hope this helps. All the Best,
Claudette
