or rather DH did. I have never been able to make anything that needed delicate handling or temperature control as my hands are too hot. Problem would be solved if I bought a pastry cutter but why bother when DH does it so well.:-)
We had them, as Eggy mentions, as a Devonshire tea for afternoon tea. They were so good I had to hide some to freeze for older kids on the weekend.
I too enjoy learning about names other countries call things, it definitely helps when you are searching for recipes.
