canning equipment?

Anybody out there know where I can locate a heatproof plastic "wand" with a magnet on it for retrieving canning lids out of boiling water??
I have searched all of the big stores, hardware stores, and called Ball/Kerr. Either no one has them or I have to wait 2-3 weeks for a catalog. Help.
