Carub Cake

Yes, Carub does taste like chocolate. My Mother used to make carub brownies once when she was on a health kick. They were pretty good too. The Carub Sponge cake sort of sounds like a meringue type of cake. Hardly any calories I bet. I Imagine if you were not able to get ahold of carub powder you could substitute cocoa. The recipe didn't say what type of pan to use. A bread pan, perhaps? Speaking of cocoa do they carry Horlicks cocoa in Australia? Years ago my husband and I were on a trip to Antartica and the ship stopped in the Faulklands. We went into a grocery store and bought a can of Horlicks cocoa. Man was that ever GOOD! I've been looking for it everywhere here in the states with no luck so far. Oh well its always fun to be on a quest for something. Thanks for sharing the recipe. I'm going to try it one of these days, probably on my friend who gave me the two ingredient biscuit recipe.
