Dear Dianne: My apologies for not answering sooner but I was
Misc. not aware of your question. The thruth is that I prepared a wonderful syrop of sugar, rum and butter, melted the syrop and I covered the cake with the syrop while still warm. Then I garnished it with sliced fresh strawberries and white seedless grapes forming a circle around the base of the cake (also covered with the syrop). But you can use already prepared white frosting, after you add the syrop.
