I wrote this on my lunch break and want to dedicate it to the Kitchen Link,
which has turned out to be such a fun and useful place! (Please don't laugh.
I'm no poet that's for sure!)

I had a little recipe, I loved it quite a lot.
I sent it to my sister, who thanked me for the thought.
I made my dish with lime juice, though getting them was hard
So sister changed to lemons; she grew them in her yard.
She served it up for neighbors; their praises made her glow.
They copied down the recipe (but forgot oregano).
They added in a sprig of thyme and changed the type of fish
And took it to a church bazaar where tasters said "Delish!"
In the next few weeks for supper throughout the little town
The recipe was copied, though never written down.
One served it on some noodles instead of next to rice
Another thought potatoes would make it extra nice.
It traveled to a potluck and then to PTA
It changed its herbs and spices as it went along its way.
I found a little recipe last night while on the Net.
It seems somehow familiar, though it's new to me and yet?
