Food processors

Misc.

Hi Debbie,

I have a large Cuisinart food processor (about 10 years old) - and I love it. I'm not sure what their models are now .... but at the time (before bread machines!) I wanted one that could be used for a lot of dough at one time ...and that is why I got what was one of the largest ones at that time. It has a baloon whisk attachment - that is great for whipped cream, cakes, etc. However, I don't use that a lot. Plus most of the other attachments. I would say check out re sizes ....how much you can do it the machine (whatever brand you decide on) Mine is still going strong and I do use it a lot.

I did buy a 'mini' (and I do mean mini) processor about 6 years ago .... sometimes I just need some herbs and garlic mixed .... and it would be lost in the big one. It is useful.

I don't have a stand mixer any more. Used to have an Oster Kitchen center and it worked fine for me - but I got rid of it when I got the food processor and just use a hand mixer.

I do have a bread machine - and use it mainly for dough - tho I bake some breads in it; and then I have a Vita Mix; and a pasta machine ... and gosh knows what else. .... some I use all the time .... some sit on the shelf for a long time ... and then I get them out. But my food processor and my brea machine are on the counter at all times.
