Gina, It was 109 here the other day, yesterday only 103 or so!

Misc.
We had a beautiful, long spring though, so it's not so bad. Makes the trips to town a little more difficult as the heat causes you to have to plan a little more, make the grocery the last stop, carry the dog if we take her with us as the pavement is just too hot to stand on bare-foot, or bare-pawed, remembering to take your bottle of water with you instead of leaving it in the car during errands, etc.
DH loves the heat, I would enjoy it in just a bit more moderation! We have escapes planned throughout the hot months, DH is whisking me off to San Diego for our 30th anniversary next month, then we are taking the travel trailer to New Mexico and Wyoming for a couple weeks. In September we will run off to San Diego again for a week after all the tourists there have gone home. We don't have air conditioning, a evap cooler works fine for all but the really humid days, those are the timess we take multiple showers during the day. So glad to see you posting again!
