Gina, this chicken looks wonderful!

Misc.
and I sure bet it will be awesome with the spinach pie!

How have you been? I guess you are sure busy, with the move coming up, and all. You are sure taking it in your stride, good for you!

Well, I finally did have my garage sale. My girlfriend joined me, with her aunt's household of things, after having moved her into extended care. Sadly, altho it was a relief by the end, she passed on last week.

Her memory lingers on in my kitchen, tho...I have a new-to-me Circulon frypan, Langostina pressure cooker, big 'ol oval crockpot, a rotisserie...that's just offhand! There are so many things, I still need to reorganise to accomodate them all!

I have been checking out recipes for the pressure cooker...still have not tried it out, but have transformed them for the slow cooker, and they have been wonderful. I will post one in a few minutes, it turned out great!

This is a long weekend here in Canada, Monday is Queen Victoria's BD. I keep thinking I have today off, too, because my kids got today off from school as well. Sadly, I do have to go to work later, tho!

The weather has been lovely, a nice taste of summer. We even had a "stinker" of a hot day earlier this week, into the 90's, but rain has been forecast starting this Monday, and it has cooled down considerably. So we shall see!

Tomorrow, my kids have invited some friends over, and they want to learn how to roll sushi. So by dinnertime tomorrow, the teens will have a big mountain of sushi in front of them! I have to say, I really do enjoy my teenagers and their friends. They are so witty and great to have around! I am going to make a couple of my Blueberry Crumble pizzas for dessert for them, too.

I hope you have a great weekend, too!

Carolyn!
