Great tips...(more)

Misc.

Those were some really good tips. I stocked up on the nuts after Christmas last year. I freeze them, and they last really well. I go to the local Winn-Dixie store and get them about 2-3 weeks after Christmas (price goes from $2.99 or $3.99 a bag of chopped and shelled nuts, down to $.99 a bag--can't beat that). Anyway, as for the other baking supplies, have been buying those up and freezing them as well (choc. chips, peanut butter chips, etc.). Even just recently got some really good deals on peanut butter (5 pound tub of JIF for $4.69--I won't open the freshness seal til close to Christmas to assure that I will be using really fresh tasting peanut butter. Anyway, as for getting prepared for Christmas, I really need to get on the ball. I want to have my shopping done earlier this year. Last year we waited until the week before Christmas, went out and spent several hundred dollars, and I ended up wrapping gifts on Christmas Eve. I hate doing that. I can't enjoy the holiday myself when I get that stressed. This year, I hope to get a fairly early start. I do have alot of sewing I will need to be getting done here soon. Thanks for the tips, and keep them coming. I can use ALL the help I can get.

P.S. Can you please post those roll out cookie recipes. I don't have any good ones, and would love to give those this year as gifts. Thanks in advance.
