Happy Birthday LaDonna! Ideas for 50th Birthday Party

It sounds like you have a grand day planned! You're right about choosing food you won't have to worry about too much so you can enjoy the party. How about adding a big fruit salad? Some cornbread would be good too. I like Marilyn's idea of serving cupcakes. Maybe have one small cake with candles for the 'wishing ceremony' and then serve everyone cupcakes.

As far as fun ideas, I just can't resist reminding you of your ideas for your sister's 50th back in 1998:

I JUST RUINED MY SISTER ON HER 50TH! SHE WAS MORTIFIED!
