strange as it sounds... dont cook any of the ingredients, use everything straight out of the package. Since you need to bake this for so long, if you cooked the noodles first I bet they would turn out really mushy (I've never cooked them beforehand so I am just speculating on that).

Anyway... hope you like it! Let me know how it turns out for u!
