Hi June.....

Misc.
Hi June,

When you spoon out the soup from the can it is quite thick. Surprisingly, the mixture of the soup, dry onion soup mix and the steam created inside the super sealed aluminum pouch creates the most delicious gravy. Just the right consistency and the flavor is awesome!!

I only serve this as a special meal for company because it is such a timesaver and the results are always 100%, gravy done and meat fork-tender. I love this recipe...it came from a community spirel-bound cookbook that my sister gave me from her hometown in Statesboro, GA about 17 years ago. Our entire family has been making this for company ever since. It is a true crowd pleaser! You must try it and report back the results, you won't be sorry!!

About the heat June....let me put it to you this way. I am originally from New York and I enjoy the cold weather immensely. I must be the only Floridian who actually relishes the cold snaps we get. I have been a Floridian since 1974 and I still am not used to the hot weather. Give me cold anytime!!!

On another note, I read your wonderful posting about the cooking talents of your son-in-law...lucky you!!! He sounds like a wonderful cook from the description of what he has made thus far!! You all must be enjoying such wonderful food...yum!!!

Best Regards, Gina
