Well, I have never tried to use regular flour...I would imagine you wouldn't
achieve the puffiness and lightness...It would probably make a more dense
puppie...(he he...I don't mean a dumb pooch...:-) ) Anyways I would not omit
the baking powder since this also aids the puppie to be lighter. If it is
because you don't have it or don't want to purchase just to try a recipe there
is a Cooks Thesaursus @ http://www.northcoast.com/%7Ealden/Dairyoth.html...this
will help you to "make your own" self rising flour. It also is a great resource
for other items you may need to substitute...Hope this helps! Good Luck!
