If its next to the baked beans, I'd

Misc.

think it would most likely be the Boston Brown Bread -- trying to remember who makes it ? Cross and Blackwell? or a name similar to that? It is a dark steamed bread - and I believe comes in a tall round can - probably 12 or 16 oz? I'm just guessing here. In the supermarkets where I've seen it - it is not by the baked beans ... but often near the baking products .... but check with the customer service desk at your supermarket. I remember tasting it many years ago and wasn't that thrilled. I would think (because of its texture) you would 'can' it similar to the cake in a jar recipes. But I'm only guessing - yet again. Good luck.
