Jeanne, my stone came with instructions....

Misc.
and I don't think there was a difference between the ovens mentioned, but any stone you buy should have some kind of guidelines with it. My advice is to buy the biggest diameter one you can afford, usually I just leave it in there all the time. I now have a self-cleaning oven so I have taken it out today, as there was a slight mishap last night since I too tend to, "pile on the toppings", and neglected to bake the crust alone a bit first! My friend leaves hers in when she self-cleans and says it comes out looking like new, but I thought the idea was to get kind of a patina on it over time and was afraid it might tend to make things stick afterwards. Not sure which is best. I bake my bread and rolls on it in addition to pizza, sometimes I take it out and put it on my gas bbq on indirect heat to do the pizza on the grill during our hot summer months when pizza in the oven would be suicide!
In answer to your ? about us moving, we are looking at a home that is in fact, two rental units, one a home, one an apt in a town about 50 miles away. Eventually we would like to move there, but would continue to rent it out until our home here sells. It's in an actual town with a grocery store (3 of them!)Pretty exciting!
