June, a few suggestions

Misc.
June, before I started typing recipes, I thought I'd make a few suggestions first. The first is what solved my dilemma years ago: I order and buy all my meat from the local meat market instead of the grocery store. This way I can order and have it packaged exactly the way I want i.e. two chix breasts, two steaks, 1 lb. (exactly) of ground beef, etc. Most recipes are pretty easy to scale down as far as remaining ingredients go.

Another thing I do is make enough for 4 or 6 at a time and then freeze it that way if I don't feel like cooking one night or don't have time, voila -ready made yummy food. There are so many things you can make ahead and freeze it's unreal.

I would start by browing the messages that are previously posted on this board. I took a quick peek back to make sure and there are plenty of good ones there. After that, if you are still lacking variety that meets your husbands' preferences, give me a few ideas of what you especially like and I'd be happy to post some recipes for you. Good luck!
