June/FL You might try calling the

Misc.
extention service at FL State or the University of FL, which ever has the agriculture school. They are often a great source of advice for gardening. When we lived in Oregon, I would call them for cooking advice as well. ie How much sugar should I use in a 9 inch blackberry pie? and canning questions etc. I can't say that I have ever used the UMass extention service but it might be a source to check out.
