Shrub Problem

Misc.
Hi June,

I suggest you cut off a branch that is showing the problem real well and bring it in to a reputable nursery where they can pin-point the problem and tell you what to do.

I had a problem with one of my shrubs showing scaling which turned out to be lichen...did the above and the people at the nursery told me what it was, what it does to the bush and told me what takes care of the problem.

Leaves turning yellow are usually indicative of an iron deficiency. Hibiscus need to be on a fertilizing schedule...go the library and look at some gardening books. Look up Hibiscus and see what they say about fertilizing. Usually the granules type is what I use. There are fertilizers for flowering shrubs.

It is late now, so tomorrow I will look at what I have in the garage and post it for you. I will also see what I can find out about Hibiscus.

Good Luck! Gina
