Recipe: Stir-Fried Broccoli (with garlic and ginger)

STIR-FRIED BROCCOLI

2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh ginger*
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/a teaspoon Lawry's Garlic Powder with Parsley
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
4 to 5 cups broccoli (about 1 1/2 pounds), cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces (OR 2 packages (9 ounces each) frozen broccoli pieces)
Toasted slivered almonds (to garnish)

In large skillet, lightly brown ginger in oil (if using ground ginger* instead, just heat oil in skillet).

Stir in water, garlic powder, sugar and seasoned salt. Add broccoli and stir-fry until tender on high heat.

Serve with toasted, slivered almonds sprinkled on top to garnish.

*Or sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger over broccoli while stir-frying.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
