Karen - Re: Almond Paste

Misc.
Hi Karen,

Almond paste should be available in any supermarket, especially now that it's getting toward the Holidays. They usually carry the Odense brand in a plastic roll (like bulk sausage roll) in the baking section, near the baking chocolate. Some places also carry almond paste in cans.

As I said, this recipe is not tested by me. A former neighbor's daughter used to make Venetians all the time, but I was never able to get her recipe (I DID get to eat the cookies!).

I'd be curious to know how this turns out for you!
