Karyn....

Misc.
Hi Karyn,

It is not crumbly by any means...when you are mixing it it resembles bread pudding with all the stuff in it. When you spoon it out on the dinner plate, it looks like a savory bread pudding, not overly wet and sliding or anything, it is a mound of the most delicious, savory, flavorful stuffing you will ever put in your mouth. And, here is the best part, since it is inside the turkey, it is h=getting all the yummy juices and everytime the turkeyu is basted some of that au jus drippings go inside and ummmmmm, boy, is that the best. The best part is the 1st spoonful I get to taste before anybody....I spoon out 3-4 tablespoons into a small bowl and sit down and just close my eyes and savor each mouthful.

I have tasted corn stuffing / dressing and it really does not do it for me, I need strong flavors to explode in my mouth. The only corn dressing that I have enjoyed was tasted at a soul food restaurant in Tampa and it was close...it had onions, garlic, green and red peppers, celery and seasonings and it was out of this world. I believe she also used a combo of corn bread and stuffing cubes from Pepperidge Farm. I could replicate it but my family would be in an uproar if their New England Style Stuffing was not on the table, I would have a mutiny on my hands Lord!

I look forward to seeing your menu soon Karyn! Happy Turkey Day!
