Misc.
Hi Laura,

I just upgraded to a Cuisinart Food Processor so I've been on the lookout for recipes too. But you can really adapt many existing recipes easily. Familiarize yourself with the basic techniques in the manual and the basic recipes. Then, when looking at 'regular' recipes consider which steps can be handled by the food processor. I like using mine for kneading yeast dough and have been using bread machine recipes - one or two loaves at a time is just enough for us. Follow the mixing procedure in your manual for any of the yeast bread recipes included. Here are a couple of sites with recipes for you to explore:

Recipes at Cuisinart

Culinary Pleasures (articles and recipes from various issues of The Pleasures of Cooking which was published bi-monthly by The Cuisinart Cooking Club, Inc. from March 1978 to August 1987)

By the way, for anyone looking for an extra work bowl for the Cuisinart Pro Custom 11, I was happy to find them for only $18.99 ($39.00 list) at Chef's Catalog (no affiliation).

And, of course, we'd love to see tips and recipes others have tried!

Happy Cooking!

Betsy
