Luncheon....
Just off the top of my head, I was thinking that maybe some kind of chilled soup, fruit or vegetable, would be something that you could serve as a first course. As for dessert, how about the Phyllo Baskets with Lemon Curd and Raspberries that are pictured fourth from the left at the top of the Home Page on this site. Both of these seem to be things that you could make ahead of time, hopefully giving you the time to enjoy the luncheon too.
