I love my self-cleaning gas oven! The smell can be a bit much but the results are worth it. After it cools, I just have to wipe away some white residue. I try to stay out of that part of the house when it is cleaning because of the smell. My range is a black Magic Chef and I simply love it. I have never had anything but gas and I cannot for the life of me cook on an electric range, burners or oven. Guess it is whatever you get used to.
