New Love: Pork Loin Roast!!

Misc.

Guys!! I'm so excited!!! I just made the best Pork Loin Roast! I usually don't go near Pork in the Market (grilled pork chops every now and then), but the other day I bought a Pork loin roast because it was on sale [and dinners were becoming "old hat"]! I prepared it just like I would a roasted chicken and roasted it!!!! My hubby loved it!!(doesn't take too much) But I loved it!!!
This is what I did:

Washed the roast. Smoothed olive oil al over it. Sprinkled it with Italian seasonings, poultry seasoning, red and black peppers and garlic salt. I layered cut celery, carrot and onion in a roasting pan; Placed the roast on top and roasted!! I did baste it every 20 mins or so with chicken broth and a little white wine. (told you-- just like a chicken!).

I'm now so impressed with pork loin roast- we may have one every week!!! I wanted to cook the leftovers in BBQ sauce for sandwiches- But Someone has already cleaned the plate!! Just had to share my new love for pork.

If anyone has any good pork recipe- I'd love them, but let me warn you... I'm still a little shaky on all the types and cuts of roasts/ meats. Hope everyone's evening is going well. Jill/ TX
