Actually, I used whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
I've used the ones right from the grocery meat dept. that
I had frozen, & I have used the frozen ones that you can
purchase in large bags from Sam's Club. I didn't cut any
of them in half. I would think you could use a 9 x 13 pan
or baking dish, I have used a large glass oval baking dish
for this recipe for years. Is this what you wanted to know?
