Note to Claudia, Chiqui and VKL

Claudia and Chiqui thank you and I will try the recipes on Swansdown.com I did try the ice water recipe for the white cake. Perhaps it was the fact that I used twice sifted white sugar instead of the super fine white sugar called for in the recipe, but unfortunately the cake was a bit less moist than the "Super moist" box cake mix that I usually use. I remembered not to over beat it!! (Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe is I guess what I have been currently using!)
Also, VKL, I use Almond in my box cake mixes. I see that you use vanilla? I'll have to try that! I'll let you know how the SwansDown recipies came out! Thanks! Six
