Peg Re: cookbook

Misc.
Bakery Lane Soupbowl is a cookbook that consists of many soups and...as they say in their book...the desserts are worth the calories.

So there are a few salads and breads. I love the pie crust mix and always have it in my fridge for a quick crust.

The restaurant was only open for lunch(it was called Maude's in Prescott). They served soup, sandwiches, salads and dessert. They made their own bread and mayonnaise. The meats were handcut off of real roasts and the desserts were to die for. What a place! don't know if they're still around ---heard they might have opened a place in Jerome, AZ. we need a place like that here in my town!
