exactly what you had in mind, you may want to post looking for
a recipe for Irish stew. I couldn't tell from your request if
you wanted it for St. Pat's day in addition to corned beef &
cabbage. FYI, Mulligan stew is a derivative recipe (said to
have originated with the hobos crossing the country on rails)
of the original Irish stew.
