Potatoes vs. rice with short ribs

Misc.
Most of those recipes called for some type of potatoes, but the longer it cooked, it kept calling me to have rice instead and I'm glad I did. Rice was definitely better than potatoes would have been. I LOVE BASMATI rice.

Thanks for the help! It's a beef/meat lovers meal, and you have to cut off all the fat and connective tissue for it to be even a little bit safer. Before browning, I removed the obvious heavier layers of fat, but after it was cooked, I took off all the rest of it, so just lean meat left. Made me feel a bit better about serving it to DH, post-by pass!

How's your weather out there?
