ISO: Beef Short Rib Recipes

Misc.
I recently bought a large batch of beautiful beef short ribs -- I think they must be good done in a slow-cooker, but have never made them before. Does anyone have a good recipe for them. My thinking is they should be floured with some seasoning, then browned, then added to crockpot with something else - just don't know what. guess it could always be like a beef stew with onions potatoes and carrots.

But would like to have someone's tried and true recipe - thanks!
