Recipe: Herb-Marinated Chicken Breasts (using Miracle Whip and white wine)

3/4 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
1/4 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
2 teaspoons dried basil leaves, crushed
3 whole chicken breasts, split, boned, skinned
Stir together dressing, wine, garlic, onion and seasonings. Pour dressing mixture over chicken.
Cover; marinate in refrigerator several hours or overnight. This is easily done in a gallon-size, sealable plastic bag.
TO COOK:
Preheat broiler.
Drain chicken and place on greased rack of broiler pan. Pour dressing mixture into a saucepan and boil 2-3 minutes.
Broil chicken 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until tender, brushing frequently with dressing mixture.
Servings: 6
