Querida Amiga: The other day someone asked for

Misc.
the perfect Masitas de Cerdo just as the ones he bought at Caf Versailles in Los Angeles. I thought so much about you and when I posted, I waited for 2 or three days hoping that the reigning queen of cooking could answer the recipe. The same thing happened with the Picadillo. We use different ingredients here in Puerto Rico but it is such s humble & great food that I felt like a glorious harmony (ODE TO JOY) in my heart & I felt compeppelled to share with my friends my mother's version of the glorious dish!.

I was so happy when I received your e-mail. I felt like my dearest friend was coming back from a very long trip. BIENVENIDA NUEVAMENTE A TU CASA, QUERIDA AMIGA.

Of course, I have a recipe for Pi on & will post it as soon as I record my notes that are in Spanish, translating them to English.

A big hug from your friend,

Gladys/PR
