raspberry question

Misc.
The torte recipe looks realy interesting, and I plan to try it soon. My question: are the raspberries the unsweetened, whole berries, usually flash-frozen type? I've had enough cooking flops in the past that I thought I'd make sure before baking! Thanks-------
