Marguerite - thanks for posting your recipes! I love veal shanks prepared osso bucco style like this - instead of the tomato-based, heavier-sauced versions. I haven't fixed it in ages and you've inspired me to do it as soon as the cold weather arrives!
The Raspberry Torte recipe sounds fabulous, too!
