re: canning gravy

I'm sorry, but there is no safe way to can gravies. No dairy or any foods that are thickened other than fruit pie fillings can be safely canned.They are too dense and the ph level unsafe to be kept from botulism. Some gravies may be frozen. Some will break down and become watery when frozen. You could can meat broths and then thicken after canning in a pressure canner.
