HAM AND CHEDDAR IN A LOAF
1 pound frozen pizza or bread dough, thawed
1 package (9 ounces) shaved ham
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup salad dressing, such as Miracle Whip
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease baking sheet.
Flatten dough slightly with hands on a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 12-by-18-inch rectangle. If dough is difficult to roll, cover with plastic and let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
Top dough evenly with ham, overlapping slightly and leaving a 1/2-inch border on all sides.
Mix cheddar and Miracle Whip. Spread evenly over ham.
Moisten edges of dough with water. Starting at one long side of dough, fold 1/3 over the filling, then repeat with the other long side. Firmly pinch ends of dough together to seal.
Place loaf, seam side down, on prepared sheet. Cut 3 diagonal slices in top of dough. Brush dough with egg. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before slicing.
