Re: Electric Grills

Misc.

The electric grill that I have has the heating coil under the grate (of course), which is fine for many things. I like to grill meats, especially Polish sausage, on this little grill, and you know how the grease will drip through. The heating coil doesn't particularly like this, and I found that it quickly lost heat around the sides. I didn't hesitate to give it away when my daughter asked for it, although I did warn her about it. I'm afraid that those coils won't last for very long. From the comments I've read, GF is probably the way to go if you want a tabletop grill.

What I'd like to know, though, is are the GF's easy to clean? Or are they as much a headache as the waffle irons?
