Re: Family Cookbook

Misc.
Hi Kim,
A couple of years ago for Christmas I did a cookbook for our five grown children. I included recipes for the dishes they had grown up with and a few other favorites.
Of the five, only one daughter is really what you would call a good cook and the others were always calling me and wanting to know how to make one or the other dishes they ate as kids.
I would include peanut butter as well as chocolate chip cookies, a basic potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad, hashbrown casserole, broccoli salad, a good basic meatloaf, chili, and any favorites that you make often or that are favorites at familly or friend get-togethers.
I did mine on the computer, printed them on printer paper with a foods border, put each one into a plastic page protector(to keep them from getting messy from use) and then put all of them into a looseleaf binder that has a place on the front to slip in a title page. It was a lot of work, but the kids love their "Moms Recipes" book.
Have fun.
