There used to be (and probaby still is ) a gingerbread house contest at PeddlersVillage in Lahasksa -near New Hope PA. I haven't paid much attention the past few years so not sure if my advice is current. peddler'sVillage does have a web site - I don't have it anymore, but a search should be simple. good luck with your article.
