Re: Gourmet Fried Green Tomatoes

Fried green tomatoes is what summer is all about!! I have eaten them all my life just battered and fried (no gravy). This sounds like something I'll have to try. Another thing to do is cube the tomatoes and slice up some okra, coat them in the cornmeal the same way and fry together. You can eat to stuff like popcorn!!
