Good to hear someone has made this and it's as good as it sounds - thanks, manyhats! Wouldn't it be fun to get together and share a piece or three together... wishful thinking!

I'll be making it for the big retirement celebration for my BIL retirement party. Although my sister wrote that she had picked a bunch of rhubarb that was waiting for me in her freezer to make "mom's rhubarb pie" that we always loved. No matter what, none of us can make that as good as she could, even with her recipe! So many ways we miss her.

Leaving shortly for Cape Cod - a couple of weeks and we'llhave some clams and lobsters!
