Recipe: Malt Shop Pie

Misc.
MALT SHOP PIE

1 prepared chocolate cookie crust
1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
2 cups crushed malted milk balls
1/2 cup heavy (whipping) cream
3 tablespoons marshmallow fluff
3 tablespoons malted milk powder
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

Place softened ice cream in a large bowl and pour malted milk ball crumbs on top. Using the back of a large spoon, quickly press crumbs into the ice cream distributing them as evenly as possible before the ice cream melts. Transfer ice cream to prepared pie pan and smooth the top with the spoon. Freeze.

Place cream, fluff, malted milk powder, and syrup in a bowl and beat with a mixer for 3 to 4 minutes until soft peaks form. Spread topping evenly over the pie and freeze at least 2 hours before serving.

Makes 6 servings
