Perhaps if you go to a 'butcher shop', a place that makes it's own sausage,ham, and sells fresh meat, they may sell you some. Otherwise try a supermarket that has a smokehouse inhouse. They may have some on hand. I use Morton's Quickcure when I cure my own meats. Perhaps if you look at the directions on the package, you could substitute it for the salt and saltpeter, as it is a mixture of both. If you are unfamiliar with it, it is sold by the salt in the spice section of a grocery store.
