Re: Request: NY Times Black & White Cookies

These cookies sound wonderful. They brought back memories of a bakery in my hometown in Massachusetts that sold a chocolate version. They were a large soft chocolate cake like cookie with half white/half chocolate frosting.

Does anyone have a chocolate version of the Black & White Cookies? Although I could probably use the old standby Whoopie Pie recipe and frost them instead of filling them.

Can you tell that I'm hungry? I need some lunch!
