re: Sweet Sour Dough

One person said that the bread rises better in the summeer than the winter. This is somewhat true. All breads rise better during or in the presence of a high pressure system and slower during a low pressure system. Also, it takes longer for your starter to ferment in a low pressure system. So basically, the weather plays an important role in how bread rises. So, watch the weather.
